Students must avoid taking part in any loud or controversial behaviour before, during or after class that may bring Cameron’s School of Martial Arts into disrepute.
Students must arrive on time. Any one arriving late must ask permission from the instructor before commencing training.
Students must treat their instructors, fellow students, or any visitors to the class with respect and courtesy.
Students must inform the instructor of any medical conditions prior to the class starting.
Students must bow on entering or leaving the dojo, before addressing an instructor or after an instructor has given instructions, going on or off the mats and to their training partners prior to performing a technique.
Students must inform the instructor if they wish to leave the dojo early.
Students can wear loose comfortable clothing for the first three months but are encouraged to wear a training suit (Gi). After the first three months a clean well presented training suit MUST be purchased through C.S.M.A and worn in class.
All ages will be practising the same techniques, however the techniques may be modified to suit the age groups.
All jewellery must be removed or taped over during the class.
No outdoor footwear is allowed on the mats. This reduces the risk of damaging the mats or contaminating them with dirt.
No food is allowed in the Dojo and any form of hydration must be kept away from the training area.
All bags, shoes and clothing must be kept close by the wall to avoid a trip hazard.
If a student is not invited to grade they will continue to practise their current techniques and their ability will be reviewed for the next scheduled grading.
If a student chooses to grade and does not perform to a high enough standard at the grading they will not progress to the next level and payment will not be refunded.
Anyone who does not abide by the rules of Cameron’s School of Martial Arts or is thought to bring Cameron’s School of Martial Arts into disrepute will have their membership revoked with no refund of payment.
